Baptism - Infant Baptism or Believer’s Baptism is a sign that someone is
beginning to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and that he or she is joining
with others as disciples in God’s Church. Baptism can be received at any time in
life, from infancy to “twilight” years. We believe in one baptism for the forgiveness
of sins, which means that it can occur only once in your life. Those baptised in
childhood sometimes choose to be received into membership of the church through a

everyone. You do not need to be a member of the church to have a child baptised.
We also offer an alternative type of service for infants called “Dedication and Thanksgiving”
or “D&T”. The minister will be pleased to discuss what is involved in the ceremonies.
